Changes at the top of OIAG
Peter Mitterbauer succeeds Alfred Heinzel
as Supervisory Board Chairman
New Members: Wolfgang Bernhard,
Wolfgang Pfarl and Stefan Zapotocky
Vienna, 3 April 2006
At today’s meeting of the Supervisory Board of OIAG, Peter Mitterbauer was appointed the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board of OIAG. He succeeds Alfred Heinzel, who leaves the Supervisory Board at the end of his six-year term of office. Veit Sorger, Second Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Privatisation Committee, has also left the Supervisory Board of OIAG. His place will on the Supervisory Board be taken by Wolfgang Pfarl, CEO of Sappi Europe S.A. Jürgen Hubbert will be staying on as First Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
For personal reasons, Karl Büche, former CEO of BRAU UNION AG, and Astrid Gilhofer, Managing Partner of CI Projektmanagement GmbH, have also resigned from the Supervisory Board with effect from 3 April 2006. They will be succeeded by Stefan Zapotocky, CEO of the Vienna Stock Exchange, and Wolfgang Bernhard, member of the Executive Board of Volkswagen AG.
